Learn more about the book that our PR campaign turned into a Waterstones best seller
Originator of Sheffield’s renowned Dirty Stop Out’s Guide, Neil has written for everyone from The Independent to The Big Issue and spent more than a decade in public and private sector PR before setting up All Credit Media in 2001.
With particular expertise in the leisure, culture and entertainment markets, he has also managed media relations in many other fields.
Built around his general dislike of over-priced, under-performing and generally glitzed-up PR agencies, his experience, contacts, business acumen and inimitable style have enabled him to build All Credit Media into one of the most well-connected and successful consultancies of its kind in the UK.
Ian is an award-winning journalist who has worked for all three of Yorkshire’s major titles – Yorkshire Post, The Star (Sheffield) and Yorkshire Evening Post – accumulating an enviable list of media contacts in the process.
His decade in newspapers saw him rise to became one of the region’s most respected reporters and he has worked closely with government ministers, council leaders, key senior figures in the police, fire and health services as well as company executives, sports stars and celebrities.
Absolutely no expertise in PR whatsoever, Ian looks after all the things media-types are totally hopeless at. IT/accounts/staff training/business planning – you name it, he sorts it. He’s the man who ensures All Credit Media runs like a well-oiled machine.
